All about our Team

Hi, I’m Deborah, the founder of Forest Pet Services. Together with my experienced team we cover the areas of Marchwood, Ashurst, Totton, Hythe and Dibden around and inside the New Forest.

About me….

I grew up in a rural area with family dogs, cats and many other pets and fell in love with nature, animals, walking and the countryside from an early age.

I have been an RSPCA volunteer, worked for a wildlife education centre, studied Animal Behaviour, and spent 13 years working full time in the insurance industry.

In 2009 I swapped business suits for muddy boots, and started working for myself in the subject always closest to my heart – dogs and other animals.

I have previously fostered 2 dogs and several cats, and until 2020 I ran a busy, licensed ‘doggy home daycare and boarding’ service.

I live in Marchwood and our family pets include Rodney the dachsund, Magnus the rescue cat, budgies and fancy rats.

About the team…

Since 2009, the business has steadily grown. Today we are a team of 6 dedicated animal lovers, covering between us the areas of Marchwood, Ashurst, Eling and Totton, Dibden and Hythe.

I am proud to have such a professional, reliable team of staff who truly adore animals and who provide professional dog walking and pet home visits with the utmost care and dedication. Their biographies are below if you’d like to meet some of them!

It goes without saying that we are fully insured, animal first aid trained, checked and registered. Dogs are transported safely, securely and comfortably.

I invite owners to join any walk, anytime, and we have established great relationships with owners and the local community.

The health and happiness of your pet while in our care is our responsibility. We take it very seriously.

Meet the rest of the team!

“I love getting to know the dogs and taking them on tailored adventures. It’s like being the favorite grandparent. How many folks get such a wonderful welcome from their ‘work’ colleagues every weekday?! It’s a dream come true.”
